Anatomical human heart is quite a common motive for artists. And voila .. here I am, using and abusing it myself, hehe. The subject itself has many general emotional connotations, so much in fact, that it can almost become blank, open shape for new explorations. In some of my paintings its shape is a background for abstraction, in others it is rotting, cracking, transforming. Raw, alive, disappearing, stone-like ..?
