pAINTING

Painting and exploring colors is a relatively new playing field for me. I approach it with curiosity and experimentation. My drawings usually start with a sketch, and I build a picture from a clear, empty space. But my paintings have to start thoughtlessly - by breaking up the white canvas and making it absolutely chaotic. Many, many layers and all the richness they bring with them. Only then do I start to manipulate the work and work out the new order(s).
